Brian's New Job

Brian started his new job on Saturday. He is a security guard. I know the pictures have a lot of shadows but I just wanted to get a picture and I had to do it fast before Brian changed into his normal clothes. He did not want to pose for me but he did just to make me happy.

Just For Fun

Saturday I was waiting for our friends the Terrie's to come over and Brendin was just sitting by the door also waiting and I had my camera in my hand so I decided to experiment with lighting to see what would happen. Here are some of the photos that I took. Just for fun. Dustin wait...... OK thanks. That's what he gets for walking by me. ha ha.

Mt. Rainier 50 Miler

The Scouts planed a 50 mile hike through Mt. Rainier. Doug and Brendin had there back packs packed and were ready to go. All summer we have had really good weather for Washington. The week before we went to Crescent Bar it was a record breaker heat wave of 105 degrees. The day the scouts started there hike the weather decided to change. It rained all week and was down into the 40s. at times. That pretty much sums up the hiking experience for the week. It rained almost the whole time they were on their hike. The Bishop meet up with them on Wednesday and I thought for sure they would decide to come home with him, but they didn't. They stayed the rest of the week and I went to pick them up on Saturday. I should have brought my nose plugs. ha ha. It was a 3 hour ride home with stinky tired boys. They had a great time and brought home lots of pictures and story's.

Because of the cloud cover they were not able to see the top of the mouton very well until the ride home in the car the sun decided to come out.

Brendin is on the right in black. The already cooked Bacon was a hit. Taste's really good when you are hungry.

The bishop asked a guy in our ward who owns a BBQ cooker that he pulls from his car to were ever. If he could go up with him on Wednesday and cook hamburgers for the hikers. He did and everyone loved it. Real food! The bishop also brought food for everyone to fill up there packs for the rest of the hike.
